1. What cookies and similar technologies are

Cookies are small files stored on your device by a website. Similar technologies include local storage, pixels, SDKs, device identifiers, and other tools that store or access information on your device. In this Policy, we refer to all of these as cookies.

2. How noshoot uses cookies

noshoot uses cookies and local storage to operate the website and Service, remember consent choices, maintain security, support account sessions, improve product reliability, and, where enabled and consented to, understand usage or marketing performance.

3. Categories

  • Strictly necessary: required for authentication, security, load balancing, fraud prevention, workspace access, payment flow integrity, cookie consent records, and basic product operation. These do not require consent where they are necessary to provide the service you request.
  • Preferences: remember choices such as interface settings or dismissed notices. These may use local storage.
  • Analytics and performance: help us understand aggregate usage, errors, and feature performance so we can improve noshoot. Where required, these are used only with consent.
  • Marketing: help measure campaigns, referrals, and promotions. Where required, these are used only with consent.

4. Current local storage examples

  • noshoot_cookie_consent stores whether the cookie banner was accepted.
  • noshoot_use_case_offer_dismissed_at stores when the Growth plan offer popup was dismissed so it is not shown again for 7 days.
  • Additional authentication, security, billing, or product keys may be used inside the authenticated app when necessary to provide the Service.

5. Consent

In the EU and Romania, non-essential cookies generally require clear information and consent before they are placed or accessed. You may withdraw consent where non-essential cookies are used. Strictly necessary cookies may remain active because the Service cannot function securely without them.

6. Managing cookies

  • You can use in-product cookie controls where available.
  • You can clear cookies and local storage in your browser settings.
  • You can block cookies through your browser, but some parts of the Service may stop working correctly.
  • If you clear storage, banners, consent prompts, and offer notices may appear again because the browser no longer remembers your previous choice.

7. Third-party cookies

Some third-party providers may set cookies or similar technologies when we use services such as payments, analytics, embedded media, support tools, fraud prevention, or infrastructure protection. Their processing is governed by their own policies, and we assess providers according to the role they play in the Service.

8. Changes

We may update this Cookies Policy when we add or remove technologies, change providers, or adjust consent flows. Updates will be posted on this page.
